Summer 2015 | Canada

Interval House helps women leave abusive relationships by offering emergency shelter and community services. When a woman does decide to leave, it’s often quickly, and essentials, particularly out of season items get left behind.

In addition, while Interval House gets a lot of donations, they don’t always get the right donations. We recognized an easy and efficient way for people to give essential, seasonal items.

Interval House

A meaningful campaign

First, we conceptualized a campaign, leveraging cross-stitch as a medium. We replaced single words of commonly known phrases to change the meaning and command attention.

Giving with Amazon

Campaign drivers would all point to an Amazon Wish List, where Interval House could list the specific seasonal items and sizes they needed. Supporters could fulfill this need in just a few clicks.

While this work wasn’t produced, I loved both the concept, application of technology, ease of fulfillment and solving problems for not-for-profits.

My Role

Following a conversation with the Group Account Director and in collaboration with the writer, I conceived of this concept and art directed the creative.
